What makes it different.

Hyundai's HiT-H450CE-BF is an n-type heterojunction (HJT) bifacial panel from HD Hyundai Energy Solutions. At around 450 W and 22.5% efficiency, with a −0.24%/°C temperature coefficient, it holds up well on hot Queensland roofs. Product and performance warranties run to 30 years.

How it works, simply: a panel's wattage is its output under standard test conditions, and efficiency is how much of the sunlight hitting it becomes electricity. Higher efficiency means more power from the same roof area.

It suits homeowners who want a Tier-1 Korean brand with HJT hot-weather performance and a long warranty, matching the Hyundai panels Countryside Solar has offered for years.

For Queensland conditions, the datasheet figures to note are a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C, which is how much output it loses for every degree the cells run above 25°C (Queensland roofs can run 30–40°C above that); a rated rear (wind uplift) load of 2400 Pa; salt-mist corrosion certification (IEC 61701), relevant for coastal homes. Cyclone-region installs also depend on the mounting system and roof structure. We design to your wind region and AS/NZS 1170.2.

Why we install it.

  1. Heterojunction cells

HJT cells for strong efficiency and low heat losses.

  2. Bifacial design

Rear-side gain where the roof allows.

  3. 30-year warranties

Product and performance cover to 30 years.

  4. CEC-listed

Approved for STC-eligible installs in Australia.
