What makes it different.

Schneider Charge comes from industrial giant Schneider Electric. It offers scheduling, a "Reduce my bill" mode and dynamic load balancing, in socket or 5 m / 7 m tethered versions from 7.4 to 22 kW. Solar charging needs extra hardware.

How it works, simply: a smart charger measures what your solar is producing and what your home is using, then adjusts the car's charging current so it soaks up surplus solar rather than exporting it.

It suits homes that value brand pedigree and switchboard integration.

For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of -30 ºC to 50 ºC, and its enclosure rating is IP 55. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.

Why we install it.

  1. Load balancing

    Protects your main supply.

  2. Reduce my bill

    Tariff-aware charging.

  3. Socket or tethered

Choose an attached cable or a socket.

  4. Wiser app

    Control through Schneider's app.

Ask a question →

What warranty does the Schneider Electric Schneider Charge have?

The manufacturer warranty is 2 years. Terms may require product registration. We register it for you.

Can the Schneider Charge be installed outside?

The manufacturer lists IP 55. In Queensland we still avoid direct afternoon sun where possible, because heat can reduce performance, and we'll recommend the best spot during the site visit.

How fast will it charge my car?

Charge speed is limited by the charger, your supply (single- or three-phase) and your car's onboard charger, whichever is lowest. We'll check all three.
