What makes it different.
SigenStor is a stackable "5-in-1" system. A solar inverter, a battery power conversion system (PCS), LFP battery modules, an energy management system and an optional DC EV charging module all stack into one tidy tower. Sigenergy rates it IP66, quotes 100% depth of discharge, and says an installation takes around 15 minutes.
How it works, simply: during the day, surplus solar charges the battery instead of being exported for a few cents. In the evening the battery powers your home before you draw from the grid. LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry is known for thermal stability and long cycle life.
It suits new solar-plus-battery installs where you want room to grow, and homes planning an EV: the optional 25 kW bidirectional DC charger module is designed to be V2X-ready.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of -20 ~ 55 °C, and its enclosure rating is Indoor/outdoor (IP 66). In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible. With storm season bringing outages, the backup set-up (which circuits stay on) is something we'll design with you.

Can I add a DC EV charger to SigenStor?
Yes. Sigenergy offers an optional DC charging module that stacks into the system. Sigenergy specifies 25 kW bidirectional DC charging that is V2X-ready, subject to vehicle compatibility.
What warranty does the Sigenergy SigenStor have?
The manufacturer warranty is 10 years, with battery capacity remaining at end of warranty: 70%; warranted throughput: 106,720. Terms may require product registration. We register it for you.
Can the SigenStor be installed outside?
The manufacturer lists Indoor/outdoor (IP 66). In Queensland we still avoid direct afternoon sun where possible, because heat can reduce performance, and we'll recommend the best spot during the site visit.
Is it eligible for the federal battery discount?
