What makes it different.
The SigenStor Energy Controller is the hybrid inverter at the heart of a SigenStor stack. It converts solar, manages the battery modules stacked beneath it, and can host an optional DC EV charging module. SolarQuotes lists passive cooling and a maximum efficiency of 98.0%.
How it works, simply: a hybrid inverter converts DC power from your panels into AC power for your home, and also manages a battery on the same unit. It decides moment to moment whether solar goes to the house, the battery or the grid.
It suits buyers planning SigenStor batteries now or later who want solar, storage and EV charging in one ecosystem.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of -30 - +60°C, and its enclosure rating is IP 66. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.
