Smappee EV Wall is a Belgian smart charger with solar-only, scheduled and fast modes. It does 7 kW single-phase or 22 kW three-phase, supports OCPP 1.6 and multi-user access, and pairs with Smappee Infinity for whole-home energy visibility.
How it works, simply: a smart charger measures what your solar is producing and what your home is using, then adjusts the car's charging current so it soaks up surplus solar rather than exporting it.
It suits solar homes that want a design-led European charger with deep energy monitoring.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of -25°C to 40°C, and its enclosure rating is IP54. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.

The manufacturer lists IP54. In Queensland we still avoid direct afternoon sun where possible, because heat can reduce performance, and we'll recommend the best spot during the site visit.
Charge speed is limited by the charger, your supply (single- or three-phase) and your car's onboard charger, whichever is lowest. We'll check all three.
