Ocular IQ Wallbox is the Wallbox naming used on Countryside Solar's original EV chargers page — part of Ocular's IQ home range with Fast, Solar Assist and Solar Only modes, multi-user RFID and a built-in display.
How it works, simply: a smart charger measures what your solar is producing and what your home is using, then adjusts the car's charging current so it soaks up surplus solar rather than exporting it.
It suits Australian households that want a locally supported solar-smart charger with a screen, matching the original site's listing.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of See datasheet, and its enclosure rating is IP54. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.
