What makes it different.
Symo GEN24 Plus is Fronius' three-phase hybrid inverter. It manages solar, a high-voltage battery and backup in one Austrian-engineered unit. It runs in an IP66 enclosure from −25 to 60°C and is monitored through Fronius Solar.web.
How it works, simply: a hybrid inverter converts DC power from your panels into AC power for your home, and also manages a battery on the same unit. It decides moment to moment whether solar goes to the house, the battery or the grid.
It suits three-phase homes and small businesses that want a premium, long-lived inverter with the option of adding a BYD or Fronius Reserva battery now or later.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of -25 - 60 °C, and its enclosure rating is IP66. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.
