OutBack Radian GS8048A is an 8 kW 48 V inverter/charger used on large off-grid and backup systems, with grid-zero and generator support via OutBack's ecosystem.

OutBack Radian GS8048A is an 8 kW 48 V inverter/charger aimed at large residential and light commercial off-grid systems. It supports grid-interactive and generator-backed designs in the OutBack ecosystem.
How it works, simply: the inverter converts DC power from your panels into the AC power your home uses. MPPTs (maximum power point trackers) let panels on different roof faces each work at their best.
It suits larger off-grid builds where high continuous AC power and OutBack charge controllers are preferred.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of See datasheet, and its enclosure rating is Indoor (NEMA-style install). In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.
