Schneider Electric XW Pro is a hybrid inverter/charger for off-grid and backup systems, with generator support and Schneider Insight monitoring — distinct from Schneider Charge EV.

Schneider Electric XW Pro is a hybrid inverter/charger for off-grid and whole-home backup. It manages battery charging, generator integration and grid interaction through Schneider's Insight platform. This is the off-grid product line — not the Schneider Charge EV wallbox.
How it works, simply: the inverter converts DC power from your panels into the AC power your home uses. MPPTs (maximum power point trackers) let panels on different roof faces each work at their best.
It suits off-grid and backup projects that want Schneider switchgear integration and Insight monitoring.
For Queensland conditions: the manufacturer specifies an operating range of See datasheet, and its enclosure rating is Indoor. In hot climates many systems reduce output at the top of their range, so we install out of direct afternoon sun with clearance for airflow wherever possible.

The manufacturer lists Indoor. In Queensland we still avoid direct afternoon sun where possible, because heat can reduce performance, and we'll recommend the best spot during the site visit.
